O.A.R.S. Guides in the “Off Season”

O.A.R.S. guides, Eli Helvey and Joslin Fritz, passed through our Angels Camp HQ this past weekend. These two fun-loving folks are heading to Costa Rica and Argentina after spending the holidays with their families. (They mentioned the possibility of bumping into CA/OR Regional Operations manager, James Rodger, on the Futaleufú River in Chile sometime this winter.) Those of you who have been on a Rogue River whitewater rafting trip have most likely experienced their good humor and outstanding cooking abilities. In addition to guiding trips on the Rogue, Eli and Jos guide in California – such as on the Tuolumne, Stanislaus and South Fork American rivers. We expect to see them back next year… with improved Spanish language skills no doubt.
